If this is the VIP experience count us out in the future, we all thought $600 for 4 of us was way over the top and the whole operation was not slick enough, we all wished we had gone to one of the many top restaurants to be found nearby and had our celebrations elsewhere. We had a bottle of spirits included with our prepaid deal, to our amazement ID'd again and had to wait 20+mins for the bottle to arrive, at this point we all had, had a gutful of waiting and asked to produce c/cards and ID on multiple occasions. But oh no we were chaparoned from the restaurant out of the front to wait at the front of the nightclub behind the ropes, where we were made to wait a further 10 mins, ID'd again and up the lift to our table. After supper we had a table in the nightclub reserved, which as it turns out was just above where we sat, up one flight of stairs. Food was good, no complaints there, only grumble was that a c/card bill was produced to us after dinner and we were ID'd again, the deal had all been paid for upfront. reservation for dinner and birthday celebration, for which we arrived 10 mins early, this is where we had our first ID check of the evening, we were then made to wait 35-40 minutes before we were sat down and orders taken for supper. If you want to know what inspires the industry's movers and shakers or what your favourite food loving celebrity likes to indulge in then you'll find it in their Seven Sins.Had a late Sat pm. We put the spotlight on the industry's most recognisable faces in our new interview segment " Seven Sins". Our New Year arrived with a bang, in a great club, with a great hostess in a great city. It didn’t detract from our time there, but I could see how it would annoy you if you were a big dancer. We were packed in, yet somehow it was still workable. This was the most crowded club that I've ever been to, regardless of the time of year. I’m no celebrity whore, but it was nice to meet someone off the telly! She was wearing a lovely sparkly white dress and looked as good in the flesh as she does on TV. Kim Kardashian herself mingled, but mainly hung out in the VIP section. The people were nice and quite sociable, even though there were plenty of drunk people around. Vegas nightlife on the Strip best suits the wealthy and connected, but we didn’t feel left out at all. The DJs knew their stuff too, throwing out the classics and the new tracks to keep everyone moving around. The sound system is very impressive, as bass and treble shook the floor all night. It’s a high traffic place and looks to be wearing quickly.Īs far as the music, it was the standard mix of hip hop and dance music. The décor is great, but is needs tidying up. I bet all the Buddha statues along the walls could tell a few tales. The decor is magnificent, but it all looks a little used. It's a perfect spot to soak in the lovely sights and enjoy some drinks. The lounge area when you first walk in to this beautiful locale is great. It was full of people, had a great atmosphere and great music. We were invited to Kim Kardashians New Year’s Eve party at the Tao nightclub, and it was a blast. That said, the Tao nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel was one thing that did have us saying “wow” more than once. We had seen much on our Las Vegas trip and it was becoming harder and harder to be impressed with anything. 31 December 2010 Tags: Las Vegas, USA, Nightclub The Bill: £130 per head
